Seiko Divers SKX779K1 and Seiko Divers SRP307K1
Authored by: Dave

SRP307K1 is the new monster version and SKX779K1 is the old, classic version. Both watches have automatic movement, day and date windows, fold over clasps with push buttons, unidirectional bezels and 200M water resistance. They light up well in the dark too.

Hi everyone and welcome to Here we have two watches from the Seiko Diver’s collection for you. The SKX779K1 and the SRP307K1. Let’s take a look at the SKX779K1 first. As you can see straight of the bat, this watch has an automatic movement. The unidirectional bezel works really nicely here. This watch is completely stainless steel and comes with a 200M water resistance and has a 42mm dial. This watch reminds me of the old classic vintage Seiko watches that had a classic finish to them. Looking at the bracelet here, we can see it’s connected with a fold over clasp with push button. We’ll look at both the watches in the dark together at the end.

Coming to the SRP307K1, you can see this is very similar to the SKX779K1 but feels more modern with the cuts and edges. It is the monster version compared to the old classic edition. This also features a unidirectional bezel and has an automatic movement. The dial size here is 42mm though. This model also features a fold over clasp with push button and safety. Taking a look at both the watches in the dark, we can see they both illuminate really well. To check out more Seiko watches, head over to and thank you for watching.
